We are Empowering Women and the Girl Child in Northern Nigeria
WHO WE ARE
The Fatimah Balaraba Foundation (FBF) is a non-governmental organization set up to address the challenges faced by single mothers and girls mainly from the northern region of Nigeria.
Vision
We aim to provide/facilitate a safe and conducive support system for single mothers and girls to thrive and we will achieve this by teaching them sustainable self-care skills to attain their potential in their chosen fields of development. We also seek that these women and children become self-confident and have access to basic amenities, enterprise and livelihood through skill acquisition, mentoring and coaching.
Mission
We are committed to promoting a wholesome experience that provides access to entrepreneurship opportunities, good health, education, financial literacy and micro-credit. In addition to this, we will be offering coaching and mentoring for the girl child and single mothers within rural communities in Northern Nigeria.
